Black is perceived in so many different ways to a variety of people it can invoke fear, power, mystery, elegance, rebellion etc. When it comes to the phrase Black people there are those that even dispute that statement in itself claiming people of color are Brown and not Black. Black has been such a universal classification of a people based on skin color and has been the subject matter of some very deep conversations. Biology, Evolution, Racism, Segregation and Discrimination are just some of the few talking points when it comes down to the conversation amongst the majority about the word Black.

The connotations associated with the word have some very deep roots that need to be discussed and approached in a civilized manor. The one question we have is what is Black To You?
